“I have a dream”, said Martin Luther King
in his time.Today I have a dream.
. |
a
dream of having the Indian SuJok Foundation. |
. |
a
place where all illness is healed. |
. |
a
place where a client and his relief are prime concern. |
. |
a
place where a person can walk into with trust. |
. |
a
place where a person knows that he will be taken care of. |
. |
a
place where the therapists have the intention to heal. |
. |
a
place where the therapists are meticulously trained and
taught to heal. |
. |
a
place where treatment and training is done with the spirit
of kindness and concentration and attention to details. |
After
my experience in the world of Alternate Medicine, I understood
that there is a dire need for practitioners who are properly
trained not only in the modalities of treatment, but also in
their attitudes towards a client and healing.
I felt that I have to start a centre where I could train students
of SuJok, so that when they go out and start work, they are
confident about their efficacy and knowledge, and are able to
give relief to their clients.
I felt that I have to start a centre for SuJok Therapy. In my
experience I have found SuJok Therapy and Onnuri Medicine to
be a flawlessly effective type of treatment. But the common
man did not know this as there was not enough publicity about
this. When I, with my friends started the first SuJok Acupuncture
Clinic in Bangalore, very few people knew about this therapy.
But now after working day and night for a few years, more people
are aware of this therapy about it’s effectiveness, simplicity,
safety and the number of clients has grown with their confidence
in this. In the past year, more practitioners have joined in.
Even as of now, people come for SuJok treatment as a late or
last resort, when nothing else seems to work. But once they
get relief from this, they come back---for themselves, family
and friends.
I have a dream that SuJok becomes a primary treatment modality
that is resorted to as a first step in treatment. Through the
Indian SuJok Foundation, I have a dream of
just such a therapy centre. Patients will get relief from their
problems—big or small. They will be treated- not as “
that appendix”-but as XYZ-an individual entitled to treatment
with dignity. Through this Foundation, I would have fulfilled
my dreams about making SuJok a household word as Prof. Park
Jae Woo, the originator of SuJok
wanted. It will be practised in the spirit which he wishes.
With full faith and deep gratitude to the Supreme Being.
Best wishes,
Meeraa,s
